Seedling Paediatric Therapy is founded by Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) , Carolyn Jarrett.

Carolyn is a mother of three and understands the joys, challenges and pressures on young families. She has been a resident of the Adelaide Hills for over 15years and brings 13 years of clinical experience to her practise through roles with SA Health and the Department for Education. Carolyn specialises in relational approaches to therapy, and is passionate about supporting little ones meet their developmental goals.

Therapy services are available for babies & children 0 - 6yrs, presenting with support needs with:

• Sleep, feeding & settling.

• Cue-based Infant massage.

• Sensory processing and emotional regulation.

• Play, communication & social skills.

• Gross & fine motor skills.

• Self-care (dressing, toileting, feeding).

• Transitions to new routines/environments - child-care/kindergarten & school.

• Strengthening parent/child relationships and well-being.

Parent Support

Parent support consults also available for parents of children 0 - 12yrs. Carolyn draws on additional training to support parents with:

• Sensory modulation and skills in co-regulation.

• Developing nurturing routines for themselves and their family.

• Problem solving emotional and behavioural challenges in young children.

• Finding meaning and building capacity in parenting roles.

• Practical ways to incorporate movement and therapeutic arts to support stress management and wellbeing.

• Self-care and sleep hygiene.
